When should I book my cake?
To avoid disappointment, Cake Envy suggests providing 6-12 months notice for wedding cakes and 3-6 weeks for corporate, birthday and other occasion cakes. During off-peak season (May – August) 2-3 weeks is adequate notice, and in exceptional cases, cakes may be turned around within the week.
Can I contact you and save the date of our event in your calendar?
Yes you can. Cake Envy requires a $100 non-refundable deposit, which is put towards you final cake costs.
How do we design a wedding cake?
To reflect the style and theme of your wedding, it is important to have decided on the theme/ambience and location of your wedding before arranging a consultation. Sometimes your ‘dream cake’ can be completely unsuited to the style, size or lighting of your particular venue. Style elements to consider before your appointment include cake shape (round or square), number of tiers, colour, pattern and/or flowers. If taking design inspiration from your dress, invitation, flower, fabric etc, remember to provide a reference at the time of your consultation.
Which factors will influence the cost of my cake?
Cake costings are based on the artistic labour involved as well as the design, number of serves required and degree of difficulty.
How much will I pay for a Cake Envy cake?
Because my cakes are completely custom made, and priced individually by the complexity of their design, Cake Envy does not have a standard price list.
Wedding and tiered cakes start at $450. We find that most of our clients choose designs that start at about $650.
On a multi-tiered cake, can each tier have a different flavour?
Absolutely. You can have any of my flavours per tier at no additional cost.
What is the difference between a coffee and a dessert portion?
A dessert portion is roughly 1"x2"x 4", double the size of a coffee portion. If your wedding includes a three-course meal, coffee portions are usually ample. If serving the cake as a course on its own, dessert portions are advised.
Do you deliver?
Delivery is available for wedding cakes and cakes that require on-site assembly. Delivery fees are calculated by overall distance traveled and are roughly $1 per km. Cake Envy's delivery range is roughly 1 hour from Bunbury.
Longer deliveries are occasionally arranged, but must be determined on a case-by-case basis. Any delivery that totals more than 10 travel hours will also be subject to an additional fee to cover food/lodging for our staff.
While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk, and Cake Envy is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our hands.
What's your payment policy?
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due NO LATER than two weeks prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until we have received your non-refundable deposit.
Payment can be made by direct deposit or cash. Cake orders placed with less than two weeks' notice require payment in full by cash at the time of ordering. Deposits are non-refundable.
Event dates are held for you through the date of your appointment or quote, and five (5) business days afterwards. If we do not receive the $100 non-refundable deposit within five (5) business days of your appointment or quote, your date may become unavailable.
The $100 deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your cake.

I see my clients at Affordable Elegance, 42D Spencer street Bunbury, Where I have photo albums, magazines and display cakes available for viewing. Please contact me for an appointment.
Do you offer Credit Card/EFTPOS Facilities?
Unfortunately No. I do however offer payments via direct bank transfer or cash.
Can I buy the cupcake stands from you?
All of my cake stands are custom made and are NOT available for sale. You can however- hire them for up to 3 days. Cake stands are from $50 for up to 3 days hire- plus an additional security bond.
